Meet our Intern...
Therapy at a reduced rate, supervised by Caroline Lee

Hello, I'm Vidya.
Graduate Intern, MA Candidate
I work with adults who are navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions—especially those who find themselves in the in-between spaces of culture, expectation, and personal truth.
Growing up with one foot in the East and the other in the West shaped how I understand belonging, identity, and connection. As an Indian woman raised in Malaysia who now calls Colorado home, I’ve experienced firsthand what it means to move between cultures, navigate intergenerational expectations, and make sense of who you are within those layers. I also bring the lived experience of being in an interracial marriage, which continues to deepen my understanding of how culture shows up in relationships in both subtle and meaningful ways.
A lot of my work is with individuals and couples exploring intergenerational patterns, cultural identity, and relationship dynamics. I’m especially drawn to working with interracial couples and individuals navigating immigrant experiences or blended identities, where questions of belonging, values, and communication often become more complex.
In addition, I work with clients moving through life transitions, such as career changes or shifts in identity. These moments can feel disorienting, but they can also create space to reconnect with what feels authentic and meaningful.
While my own cultural background and lived experiences inform how I show up, they do not define who I work with. I welcome clients whose identities, values, and life experiences differ from mine, and I feel honored to support people through stories far from my own.
My style is warm, collaborative, and adaptable. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I take time to understand what feels supportive for you and tailor our work in a way that aligns with your needs and goals. I aim to create a space that feels approachable and grounded, especially for those who may be new to therapy or unsure where to begin.
Together, we might focus on:
-
Finding and trusting your authentic voice
-
Building communication skills that support more connected relationships
-
Navigating stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
-
Exploring identity, culture, and your sense of belonging
As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, I work under the supervision of Caroline Lee, LMFT, and offer sessions at a reduced rate of $90.
